Fly through images

One of my favorite little tools recently has been the Safari/Firefox plugin PicLens, which provides full screen immersive picture browsing of Flickr, Facebook, Google image search results and a couple other sites that support Media RSS.
PicLens is like the slideshow feature in Picasa, but applied to web pages, and – in my opinion – visually more beautiful. Right now the only thing that really sucks about PicLens is that it only works with a couple browsers and a handful of sites. Why couldn’t this be the standard?
