The fast runner

I know that Nike + iPod has been in the market for a while, but since I haven´t written anything about the great little thing here in my blog before, and I myself have been a happy user of the gadget for more than six months, I just need to say how much I like it.
I first thought about buying a much more expensive, perhaps GPS-controlled pedometer/heart rate monitor, like one of those cool little Suunto things. Then I realized that Nike+ would give me all the same features that I really needed – pedometer, calorie counter and timer – and even more, and cost nearly 10 times less than some of the fancier wrist pedometers.
Ever since I started using Nike+, I´ve been loving it. It´s motivating (the voice that speaks the data to me during the run), it´s easy to use, it allows me to listen to my music at the same time, and after the run I can easily monitor the data on my computer. Sure, it lacks some more advanced features, but I wouldn´t need an altimeter for my runs anyways.
The Nike+ website has got a few glitches and a couple times my iPod has lost my workout data before I got to synchronize it, which was really annoying, but other than that, it works well. It´s a smart concept and a very affordable product.
