Now Get Your Music Out There

September 28th, 2007 |  Published in Social networking  |  2 Comments

Last.fm, the UK-based social music platform, has recently started a blog-style site called Now Form A Band, which can prove useful to musicians aspiring to get big just through the Internet/digital media. Sure, most musicians using the web probably already knew about at least some of the services now featured at Now Form A Band, but they manage to pull out some sites, like the ringtone-creating XingTone or the free digital music distribution service IndieStore that some of us bedroom musicians might have missed in the past. I look forward to finding more useful stuff at Now Form A Band in the future.

Sounds very promising. Maybe I still could find a way to become a real musician. :) After all, Samuli Kosminen, os. Koskinen plays the Roland HPD-15 Handsonic (just like me) with Kimmo Pohjonen and the American Kronos Quartet. Plus I used to play the drums together with Kimmo’s friend Ville, who played the guitar in our band. I truly would like to play in a band once again, let’s see how it goes. Last night I dreamt of playing the bass, really strange… :)
